Grease Automatic Fill Shut Off Systems
The Bard auto fill shutoff system is an effective, environmentally friendly system to fill grease canisters - away from the overflow to ground approach & without electrical parts that have the potential of failure.

SCA987
The SCA987 breather/check assembly is designed to allow filtered air into an attached grease canister to neutralise internal pressure as the as the pump dispenses grease, preventing vacuum & cavitation formation.
The replaceable spin-on air filter utilises a 3 micron fiberglass media, & does not contain granule desiccant. The affixed check valve will close & seal when the grease tank is at capacity (working in unison with the BARD Grease Fill Valve, part no. GFV)
SCA066
The SCA066 Grease Relief Manifold is comprised of multiple parts, it incorporates a needle valve to vent grease pressure from the fill line that allows the operator to disconnect the coupling under pressure.
A 400 bar (5,800 psi) gauge is also fitted to display bulk fill line pressure & indicate when the canister is full.
SCA1220-10
The SCA1220-10 Relief Manifold serves the purpose of facilitating the bulk filling of grease in both our Bard Service Modules & third-party Service Modules. Subsequently, after the bulk filling process, this manifold is utilized to relieve back pressure within the fill line back to the tank.

Grease Fill Valve (GFV)
The Grease auto fill shut-off valve system is used for lubricant replenishment of centralized lubrication system canisters. When the canister is full, the valve will automatically close to prevent additional grease from entering the canister.

SCA492
The SCA492 tank relief valve is a high capacity ASNE safety valve used to ensure that the canisters internal pressure does not exceed 2 bar (29 psi). With all brass construction & with stainless steel springs, it is built to last in mining environments.
The SCA492 requires servicing at six-monthly intervals or once it reached 250 hours of service.

SCA403
The SCA403 breather/check assembly is designed to allow filtered air into an attached grease canister to neutralise internal pressure as the as the pump dispenses grease, preventing vacuum & cavitation formation.
The replaceable spin-on air filter utilises a 3 micron fiberglass media, & does not contain granule desiccant. The affixed check valve will close & seal when the grease tank is at capacity (working in unison with the BARD Grease Fill Valve, part no. GFV)
* SCA403 Discontinued - superseded by SCA987
SCA801
The SCA801 grease filter is a high pressure grease filter for removing contaminants from grease without unduly restricting flow. It features an element that filters inside to out ensuring all filtered particles are removed with maintenance or replacement of filter element.
